The Fasting of Ramadan

"Ramadan is the month during which the Quran was revealed, providing guidance for the people, clear teachings, and the statute book. Those of you who witness this month shall fast therein. Those who are ill or traveling may substitute the same number of other days. God wishes for you convenience, not hardship, that you may fulfill your obligations, and to glorify God for guiding you, and to express your appreciation" Noble Quran 2:185

Obligatory Charity (Zakat)

Zakat charity is given great importantance in the Quran, the Most Merciful has associated His Mercy to those who pay their zakat.

AL-SALAT (The Contact Prayer)

Out of the five pillars of Islam we find that the word Salat is the most frequently mentioned of the five. The word Salat is mentioned a total of 67 times in the Quran.

The correct Testimony (Shahada)

"There is no god but Allah, Muhammad [peace be upon him] is the messenger of Allah." The core of the faith is the "Shahada" (Testimony). This very first pillar of Islam is clearly stated in the Quran.

The Hajj (Pilgrimage)

The reader of the Quran will note that all the rites of Hajj that are decreed by God Almighty are to be found in the Quran. Sadly, many idolatrous rituals have crept into the Hajj that is practised today. These corrupted rituals, not only have no Quranic basis, but they also clearly violate the concept of Hajj as given in the Quran.

SAME MESSAGE REPEATED BY PROPHET MUHAMMAD:

What The Bible And Quran Say About The Prophets

>> Prophet Moses and Aaron

Bible says:
Deuteronomy 32:48 "On that same day the LORD told Moses, 49 "Go up into the Abarim Range to Mount Nebo in Moab, across from Jericho, and view Canaan, the land I am giving the Israelites as their own possession. 50 There on the mountain that you have climbed you will die and be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people. 51 This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites."

Exodus 32:3 "So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron. 4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, "These are your gods, [a] O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt."'

Quran says:
Surah 19:51-53 "And mention in the Book Moses; he was devoted, and he was a Messenger, a Prophet. We called to him from the right side Of the Mount, and We brought him near in communion. And We gave him his brother Aaron, of Our mercy, a Prophet."

Surah 33:69 "O ye who believe! Be not as those who slandered Moses, but Allah proved his innocence of that which they alleged, and he was well esteemed in Allah's sight."

Surah 20:90-91 "And certainly Haroun had said to them before: O my people! you are only tried by it, and surely your Lord is the Beneficent God, therefore follow me and obey my order.
They said: We will by no means cease to keep to its worship until Musa returns to us."

Bible says:
Genesis 19:33 "That night they got their father to drink wine, and the older daughter went in and lay with him. He was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up. 34 The next day the older daughter said to the younger, "Last night I lay with my father. Let's get him to drink wine again tonight, and you go in and lie with him so we can preserve our family line through our father." 35 So they got their father to drink wine that night also, and the younger daughter went and lay with him. Again he was not aware of it when she lay down or when she got up. 36 So both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their father."
Quran says:
Surah 6:86 "And Isma'il and Elisha, and Jonas, and Lot: and to all We gave favour above the nations:"Surah 21:74-75 "And (as for) Lut, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town which wrought abominations; surely they were an evil people, transgressors; And We took him into Our mercy; surely he was of the good."

>> Prophet Solomon
Bible says:
1 Kings 11:4 "As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been. 5 He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech [a] the detestable god of the Ammonites. 6 So Solomon did evil in the eyes of the LORD; he did not follow the LORD completely, as David his father had done.7 On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molech the detestable god of the Ammonites."

Quran says:
Surah 2:102
And follow that which the devils falsely related against the kingdom of Solomon. Solomon disbelieved not; but the devils disbelieved, teaching mankind magic and that which was revealed to the two angels in Babel, Harut and Marut. Nor did they (the two angels) teach it to anyone till they had said: We are only a temptation, therefore disbelieve not (in the guidance of Allah). And from these two (angles) people learn that by which they cause division between man and wife; but they injure thereby no-one save by Allah's leave. And they learn that which harmeth them and profiteth them not. And surely they do know that he who trafficketh therein will have no (happy) portion in the Hereafter; and surely evil is the price for which they sell their souls, if they but knew."

Surah 38:30 "And We bestowed on David, Solomon. How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah)."

Surah 27:15 "And We verily gave knowledge unto David and Solomon, and they said: Praise be to Allah, Who hath preferred us above many of His believing slaves!"

>> Prophet Jacob
Bible says:
Genesis 27:36 "Esau said, "Isn't he rightly named Jacob [a] - He has deceived me these two times: He took my birthright, and now he's taken my blessing!" Then he asked, "Haven't you reserved any blessing for me?"

Hosea 12:2 "The LORD has a charge to bring against Judah; he will punish Jacob [a] according to his ways and repay him according to his deeds. 3 In the womb he grasped his brother's heel; as a man he struggled with God. 4 He struggled with the angel and overcame him; She wept and begged for his favor. He found him at Bethel and talked with him there-"

Quran says:
Surah 21:72,73 "And We bestowed upon him Isaac, and Jacob as a grandson. Each of them We made righteous."

Surah 38:45-47
"And make mention of Our bondmen, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of parts and vision. Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter).Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent."

>> Prophet David
Bible says:
2 Samuel 11:2 "One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, 3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, "Isn't this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?" 4 Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant.".....
14 In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it with Uriah. 15 In it he wrote, "Put Uriah in the front line where the fighting is fiercest. Then withdraw from him so he will be struck down and die."...26 When Uriah's wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for him."

Quran says:
Surah 27:15
"And We verily gave knowledge unto David and Solomon, and they said: Praise be to Allah, Who hath preferred us above many of His believing slaves!"

Surah 38:17
"Bear with what they say, and remember Our bondman David, lord of might, Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah)."

Surah 38:20
"We made his kingdom strong and gave him wisdom and decisive speech."

Surah 38:25
"So We forgave him that; and lo! he had access to Our presence and a happy journey's end."

>> Prophet Noah
Bible says:
Genesis 9:20 "Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded [a] to plant a vineyard. 21 When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. 22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside. 23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness. 24 When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, 25 he said,
"Cursed be Canaan!
The lowest of slaves
will he be to his brothers."

Quran says:
Surah 3:33 "Lo! Allah preferred Adam and Noah and the Family of Abraham and the Family of 'Imran above (all His) creatures."

Surah 17:3 "They were) the seed of those whom We carried (in the ship) along with Noah. Lo! he was a grateful slave."

>> Prophet Job
Bible says:
Job 3:1 "After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth."

Job 10:2 "I will say to God: Do not condemn me, but tell me what charges you have against me. 3 Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the schemes of the wicked?"

Job 19:6 "then know that God has wronged man and drawn his net around me. 7 "Though I cry, 'I've been wronged!' I get no response; though I call for help, there is no justice."

Job 24:1 "Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment? Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?"

Job 31:6 "let God weigh me in honest scales and he will know that I am blameless-"

Job 34:9 "For he says, 'It profits a man nothing when he tries to please God.'"

Quran says:
Surah 38:41 "And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord)."

Christians believe that their Prophets committed all of these disgusting acts, yet they attack the moral character of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Ironic isn't it?

Forgive Me When I Whine Ahmad Bukhatir
English Lyrics

Today, upon a bus I saw a girl with golden hair,

And in my heart I wished that I was just as fair

When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle.

She had one leg and wore a crutch, but as she passed, a smile.
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 legs to walk upon and the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy; met a boy who had such charm.
We talked, he seemed so happy, if I were late, it do no harm.
And as I left, he said to me, 'Thank you, you've been so kind.
It's nice to talk with folks like you. You see,' he said, 'I'm blind.'
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 eyes to see the world and the world is mine.

Later that day on my way, I saw a boy with eyes of blue.
He watched the other children play; he did not know what to do.
I stopped a moment, then I said, 'Why don't you join the others, dear?'
He kept on looking straight ahead and then I knew he could not hear
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have 2 ears to hear the world and world is mine.

With legs to take me where I'd go.
With eyes to see the sunset glow.
With ears to hear what I'd know
Oh the world is mine

I stopped for a moment, just look how much I have
Everywhere, in all our lives, these are His signs

Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have been blessed indeed, and the world is mine
Oh Allah, Oh Allah, forgive me when I whine.
I have been blessed indeed, and the world is mine

Allah The Original name of God?

Allah is the name of the one true God in the Arabic language.
Allah is the god of both Christians and Jews, as well as Muslims.
Christians and Jews who speak Arabic use the name "Allah" to refer to God.

 Old Testment ("Torah")

● English Bible "In the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth"
[Genesis 1:1]

○ Arabic Bible "Fee al-badi' khalaqa Allahu as-Samaawaat wa al-Ard"
[Genesis 1:1] Arabic

† New Testment ("Gospel")

● English Bible

"James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ"
[James 1:1]

○ Arabic Bible "Ya'qub abdu ☞Allah wal rabu yasu' al massih"
[James 1:1]

● English Quran

"In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Most Merciful"
[Quran 1:1]

○ Arabic Quran "Besmi ☞Allah al-rahman al- rahim"
[Quran 1:1]

Allah or 'Alah' is the very same name used by Jesus Christ in the language he spoke (Aramaic). Likewise, the name for God in the language of Moses (Hebrew) is written with the very same letters and pronounced almost the same.

Hebrew [the language of Moses]
Eloh

[Mark 12:29]

Arabic [the language of Muhammad]

Alef - Lam - Lam - He

Arabic Quran Allahu la ilaha ila hwa al-hayyu al-qayyum
[Quran 3:2]

English Quran God, There is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal
[Quran 3:2]

■ Allah in the Arabic language is the greatest and most inclusive of the Names of God. It is a word of rich meaning, denoting the one and only God and ascribing no partners to Him.

■ Allah is the special name of God and is the most precious name because it is not a descriptive name like the other Ninety-nine names of Allah, but the name of God's own presence.

■ It is impossible to alter the word in Arabic unlike in English; such as creating a plural form (gods), or changing genders to (godess).

■ Although commonly referred to as a "He", the word "Allah" in Arabic is absolutly unique as it is genderless. The use of "He" is only employed because, just like in English, it would be disrespectful to refer the Almighty Creator as an "It."

■ The word Allah is absolutely unique in the Arabic language and is not just thought of as a name for God, but as the personal name of the One true God. Nothing else can be called Allah.

Say, [O believers], "We have believed in God and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the Descendants and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him. [Quran 2:136]

Belief in the Books of Allah

Belief in the Books of Allah
One must believe that Allah revealed Heavenly Books to His Messengers in order to convey them to mankind. These Books during their times contained nothing but the truth. All these Books call people to worship Allah alone, and that He is the Creator, Proprietor and Owner, and to Him belong the beautiful Attributes and Names.

Allah says:
"Indeed We have sent Our Messengers with clear proofs, and revealed with them the Scripture and the Balance (justice) that mankind may keep up justice." (57:25)

Some of the Books are:
1.   The Scriptures of Ibraheem («may god exalt their mention») (Abraham) and Musa («may god exalt their mention») (Moses): The Qur'an has given a brief insight about the religious fundamentals found in these scriptures. Allah says:
"Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? -And (of) Ibraheem who fulfilled (the commandments): That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another;- And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for;- And that his striving shall soon be seen; Then shall be rewarded for it with the fullest reward; and that to your Lord is the goal." (53:36-42)

2.  The Torah: The Torah is the Sacred Book which was revealed to Musa («may god exalt their mention»). Allah says:
"Verily, We did send down the Torah [to Musa], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allah’s Will, judged the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged the Jews by the Torah after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allah’s Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the disbelievers." (5:44)

3.  The Zaboor (Psalms): The Zaboor is the Book which was revealed to Dawood («may god exalt their mention») (David). Allah says:
"…and to Dawood We gave the Zaboor." (4:163)

4.  The Injeel (Gospel) : The Injeel is the Book which was revealed to ‘Eesaa («may god exalt their mention») (Jesus). Allah says:
"And in their footsteps, We sent ‘Eesaa, son of Maryam (Mary), confirming the Torah that had come before him. And We gave him the Injeel, in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the Tauraat (Torah) that had come before it, a guidance and an admonition for the Allah-fearing." (5:46)

A Muslim must believe in all the Heavenly Books and he must believe that they are from Allah. It is not lawful for him to abide by its laws, since these Books were revealed to certain nations at certain times.

The Qur'an has explained some of what was found in the Torah and the Injeel; such as the prophecy of Muhammad (peace be upon him):
"…and My mercy encompasses all things; so I will ordain it (specially) for those who are pious and give Zakah (Obligatory Charity), and those who believe in Our Ayaat. Those who follow the unlettered Prophet, whom they find written down with them in the Torah and the Injeel (who) enjoins them good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from the their burden and the shackles which were upon them; so (as for) those who believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful." (7:156)

5.  The Noble Qur'an: One must hold the following beliefs concerning it:
a. One must believe that the Qur'an is the Speech of Allah which Jibreel (Gabriel) («may god exalt their mention») brought to Muhammad (peace be upon him) in clear Arabic language. Allah says:
"Which the trustworthy Rooh [Jibreel (Gabriel)] has brought down; * Upon your heart (O Muhammad «peace be upon him») that you may be (one) of the warners, * In a plain Arabic language." (26:193-195)

b. One must believe that the Qur'an is the last of the Heavenly Books, which confirms the previous Books concerning the Message of Tawheed and the obligation to worship and obey Him. All previous Books were abrogated by the Qur'an. Allah says:
"[It is] He Who has sent down the Book (the Qur'an) to you (Muhammad «peace be upon him») with truth, confirming what came before it. And he sent down the Torah and the Injeel. Aforetime, as a guidance to mankind, And He sent down the Furqaan (The Criterion) [of judgment between right and wrong (this Qur'an)]." (3:3-4)

c. One must believe that the Qur'an contains all divine laws. Allah says:
"This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as a religion." (5:3)

d. One must believe that it was revealed to mankind at large; not to a specific nation, as were previously revealed Heavenly Books. Allah says:
"And We have not sent you [O Muhammad «peace be upon him»] except to all of humanity, as a giver of glad tidings and a warner, but most people know not." (34:28)

e. One must believe that Allah has preserved the Qur'an from all distortions, adulterations, additions, or impairments. Allah says:
"Indeed it is We ourselves Who have sent down the Remembrance (the Qur'an) and surely, it is We Who shall guard it [from distortion]." (15:9)

The Merits of Belief in Allah’s Books
1.One would realize the mercy and love Allah has for His slaves; since He revealed to them Books which guide them to the path which leads to His pleasure. He safeguarded man from confusion and from the evil of Shaytaan .
2.One would realize the great wisdom of Allah; since He gave each nation a set of laws that suited them during their times.
3.To distinguish true believers from those who are not. It is incumbent upon one who believes in his own Book to believe in the other Heavenly Books.
4.To increase the good deeds of the believers; for the one who believes in his Book and the Books that came after his Book, would receive his reward twice. Allah says:
"Those to whom We gave the Scripture [i.e. the Torah and the Injeel, etc.] before it, - they believe in it (the Qur'an). And when it is recited to them, they say: ‘We believe in it. Verily, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed even before it we have been from those who submit themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims (like ‘Abdullah bin Salaam and Salmaan Al-Faarisi, etc.). These will be given their reward twice over, because they are patient, and repel evil with good, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided them." (28:52-54)

Watch Online Jesus Film & About Prophet Jesus PBUH in Islam

In IslamJesus (Isa; Arabicعيسى‎ ʿĪsā) is considered to be a Messenger of God and the Masih(Messiah) who was sent to guide the Children of Israel (banī isrā'īl) with a new scripture, the Injīl orGospel.[1] The belief in Jesus (and all other messengers of God) is required in Islam, and a requirement of being a Muslim. The Quran mentions Jesus twenty-five times, more often, by name, than Muhammad. It states that Jesus was born to Mary (ArabicMaryam) as the result of virginal conception, a miraculous event which occurred by the decree of God (Arabic: Allah). To aid in his ministry to the Jewish people, Jesus was given the ability to perform miracles (such as healing the blind, bringing dead people back to life, etc.), all by the permission of God rather than of his own power. According to the popular opinion and Muslim traditions, Jesus was not crucified but instead, he was raised up by God unto the heavens. This "raising" is understood to mean through bodilyascension.

Muslims believe that Jesus will return to earth near the Day of Judgment to restore justice and to defeat Masih ad-Dajjal ("the false messiah", also known as the Antichrist).

Like all prophets in Islam, Jesus is considered to have been a Muslim (i.e., one who submits to the will of God), as he preached that his followers should adopt the "straight path" as commanded by God. Islam rejects the Christian view that Jesus was God incarnate or the son of God, that he was ever crucified or resurrected, or that he ever atoned for the sins of mankind. The Quran says that Jesus himself never claimed any of these things, and it furthermore indicates that Jesus will deny having ever claimed divinity at the Last Judgment, and God will vindicate him.The Quran emphasizes that Jesus was a mortal human being who, like all other prophets, had been divinely chosen to spread God's message. Islamic texts forbid the association of partners with God (shirk), emphasizing a strict notion of monotheism (tawhīd).

Numerous titles are given to Jesus in the Quran and in Islamic literature, the most common being al-Masīḥ ("the messiah"). Jesus is also, at times, called "Seal of the Israelite Prophets", because, in general Muslim belief, Jesus was the last prophet sent by God to guide the Children of Israel. Jesus is seen in Islam as a precursor to Muhammad, and is believed by Muslims to have foretold the latter's coming.
